Google Workspace Festival of Lies – A Chronology of Support Manipulation
From Accusations of Crimes to... Services for Schools
What's happening in correspondence with Google Workspace support is no longer professional customer service; it's starting to resemble a desperate attempt to conceal the truth. The list of arguments Google uses changes with almost every email, often contradicting itself.
A Carousel of Contradictory Messages
In just a few weeks, users were successively told that:
- Their accounts were used for phishing and spam (even though Google Workspace ads still arrive without issue after email addresses were moved to another server).
- There was an alleged debt in Google Workspace accounts, which was technically impossible given the top-down restrictions imposed by Google and Super Administrators.
- Accounts suddenly became Non-Profit services, for which the domains allegedly had no authorization.
- Finally – as in the latest emails – business accounts were referred to as Google Workspace for Education services.
GSuite Legacy – An Inconvenient Legacy
The truth is likely much simpler and more embarrassing for the giant. Old plans, such as GSuite Legacy Enterprise, became a burden for Google. Not supported by modern AI modules and kept on outdated infrastructure, they might have simply suffered a physical failure. Instead of admitting to the error and data loss, support employs a tactic of discouraging the customer through constant changes in accusations.
Blackmail Instead of a Solution
The height of audacity are the "rescue" proposals: Google offers to create new accounts, provided the user waives rights to old data. This is nothing more than an attempt to coerce consent to delete evidence of their own technical incompetence.
Chronologically ordered accusations from Google Workspace support:
- phishing spam was being sent and they didn't inform the super administrator about it, but ads are still being sent to this day
- someone violated the terms by exposing login keys to the world
- then they changed the narrative and claimed someone incurred debt in Google on the account in the package – which is impossible, because I see everything and everyone paid on time
- subsequently, they claimed they were blocking domains because we were using Google Workspace non-profit and our domains were not eligible for it, which was a lie
- next, however, they changed the narrative, asking for consent to create new accounts in a subscription with the discharge of old, non-existent data
- then they changed the narrative again when someone didn't agree, explaining that it was something else entirely, namely a permanent, lifelong domain block, because you didn't agree to our terms
- subsequently, they claimed the accounts were evidence in a case of crimes against Google
- now, however, they claim it's a Google Workspace Education service
It should be noted that support provides no evidence of any violation; even lawyers attempting to gain access to this information receive a response from Google Support – they do not provide it, as they are simultaneously Judge and Executioner in the matter.
