Around March 2nd of this year, an unprecedented event occurred within the Google Workspace ecosystem. A large group of individual users and companies, with no common business ties or location, were suddenly deprived of access to their mailboxes, files on drives, and administrative tools.

A Facade of Policy Violation

Official communications sent by automated systems point to alleged violations of policies regarding spam and phishing. However, a deeper analysis of cases shows that the victims were accounts used exclusively for legitimate business communication, often existing for many years without any prior incidents.

Probable Cause: Data Container Failure

Everything indicates that the real reason is not user behavior, but a serious failure of Google's internal infrastructure. There is a high probability that data containers were damaged, leading to the physical disappearance of files and messages. Mass blocks under the pretext of security may merely be an attempt to mask a loss of data integrity that the tech giant is unwilling to admit.
